When the word magnesium is mentioned, oftentimes the notion that comes to mind is either a metal or an element in the periodic table.  True in a sense, however, the idea should not stop at that poin, for it is more than just a metal or an element.  Magnesium is a significant factor necessary for the human body to work properly.  It is said to produce positive reactions in the treatment of muscles, cramps and even common or severe headaches.  According to studies, insufficiency of magnesium in the body may trigger the development of kidney stones.
